Marlon Quinn is also an Australian Mutual Gains Approach (MGA) stakeholder management specialist who helps organisations create better relationships, seek mutual benefits and remedy disputes in projects.
With a background in business and information technology he has led multi-disciplinary projects for private enterprise and government across Australia and utilised teams across Asia, India and the USA for implementation.
He has worked in politically sensitive situations such as Victoria’s AU$1-billion state-wide smartcard transport ticketing project to facilitate and reach agreement across stakeholders including government, public transport operators, infrastructure contractors and union delegates for legal agreements, solution design and equipment deployment.
An experienced negotiator and AMA nationally accredited mediator he has restored broken vendor-client relationships for IT firms, resolved conflict and remedied disputes to get projects back on track.
During his career he has worked for large organisations including Fujitsu Australia Limited, NCR and the Victorian State Government, plus managed relationships across the Retail, Transport and Government sectors for clients such as Coles, IGA, Priceline, Metro (Connex), Yarra Trams, Just Group, VGSO and others.
Marlon has strong links internationally and is part of the international MGA network via the Sustainability Challenge Foundation (www.scfoundation.org) and is an IPMS (International Program on the Management of Sustainability) alumnus.
With strong interests in health and sustainability, he also shares his time in the marine environment and mountains in various guises.
- Training others in the discipline of Freediving (Apnea) as a qualified Freediving Instructor.
Founder and Former President of the Melbourne Freedivers Club. Helping freedivers and spearfishermen across Victoria, with training centres in Melbourne and Geelong, find buddies with which to go freediving safely.
Representing Victorian State interests at the national level for the Australian Freediving Association.
Extending sustainable and environmentally aware initiatives as Ambassador for the French-based EcoCyclo/UCI cycling patrol.
Marlon brings over fourteen years of experience and holds a Bachelor of Business in Management from Monash University.
